The MTB specific Sonar Freecoaster Hubs feature a patented "HYBRID" freecoaster system, creating a new type of hub that functions unlike anything else. Based on similar construction to a traditional hub, the Sonar Freecoaster is lightweight, simple to adjust system with ample durability and reliability.

Larger, fully adjustable slack system, and a "MagnaDrive" magnetic pawl retention system, requires little to no maintenance compared to the heavy and unreliable clutch style freecoasters
Provides zero friction and resistance making it one of the smoothest and fastest rolling hubs; going forwards or backwards
Easily convertible into a cassette hub (all parts included)
6061-T6 Alloy hub shell & 7075-T6 axle
x5 sealed high-grade stainless bearings
MTB specific, 135mm spacing and 6-bolt disc brake mount
33% lighter than a conventional clutch style freecoaster hub
