Bicycle Technician & Coordinator
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Play a key role in shop service team by overseeing work orders for bicycle servicing and providing guidance.
- Coordinating our customer communication checklist and ensuring execution of listed items. This includes assisting customers with bike assessments, estimates and quotes.
- Provide quality assurance on all bikes by providing thorough quality checks. Bring forth preventative maintenance suggestions after servicing is complete, particularly to used and older bikes.
- Repair and maintain all types of bicycles, including ebikes, mountain bikes, hybrid, and cargo bikes, etc. Provide thorough and proficient complete bike builds, repairs, tune ups, inspection checks, and accessory installs on time by following standardized processes
- Maintain an organized and efficient service area clear of clutter and any hazards in order to keep a safe work environment for all
- Logistical coordination of part sourcing for bicycle servicing, give guidance and oversee work orders for bicycle servicing. Develop methods to improve the operational processes.
- Utilize computerized system to input and coordinate day-to-day schedule of events, service part inventory, and complete bicycle inventory.

Community Recreational Fleet Officer
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Develop new and strengthen existing strategic partnerships.
• Ensure fleet maintenance & service schedule.
• Social Media marketing on Facebook & Instagram.
• Assist with bike rentals of various types, e-bikes, hybrid bikes, children’s bikes, etc.
• Develop routes for clients and corresponding pamphlets to enrich riding experience.
• Develop pre-mapped self-guided and/or guided tours throughout local downtown core.
• Follow inspection checklist to ensure service completion prior to departure.
• Follow safety procedures regarding tools and equipment.
• Maintain rental bike software and take reservations for guided trips and rentals.
